The idea of a potential fifth Fast & Furious movie would be to build up a new character that could be spun-off into a new franchise. This would be played by Dwayne Johnson, with the movie being promoted as a Vin Diesel vs The Rock feud. Neil Moritz (Gridiron Gang) is expected to be the producer. Johnson’s plan over the past few years was to expand his filmography into comedies, dramas and family films before returning to action movies.
