Kurt Angle Wants Changes To TNA Impact

News

Kurt Angle has noted that he was watching Impact while he was on a break and concluded that TNA needs to include more wrestling on the show to distinguish it from WWE’s product. Angle also wanted them to slow the pace of the show down rather than having so many talking segments. He felt that TNA has more wrestling talent than WWE and so should showcase it. Angle also discussed his moonsault off the cage against Ken Anderson last month, which was not planned before the match. Angle called the spot during the match and told Anderson not to move, giving Anderson credit for his performance. A number of others wrestlers noted that they would have been tempted to move, noting that Bob Holly suffered a broken arm after taking an Angle moonsault in the past and this one was from a higher height. Angle also admitted to being knocked out when taking a bump in his Ladder Match with Anderson when taking a bump to the outside. He admitted that he does not want to put himself into those sorts of situations again. He is planning on switching to a part-time role this year in order to do more acting work. He claimed to have five movies lined up over the course of the next year, yet does not want to leave wrestling altogether.
