In a story on Digital Spy, “Steven Klein has defended Lady GaGa’s controversial new video for ‘Alejandro’, which he co-directed with the singer.

The director told MTV News that the Catholic imagery and gay bondage themes used in the clip were not meant to offend anyone but rather to express GaGa’s unique take on her own experiences.”

Pardon my editorializing, but that sounds like a load of crap.
