News

The NCAA showing some compassion to the players affected by USC’s rules infractions.

Usually when a player transfers from one school to another school of the same division, the player has to sit out one year. The NCAA has decided that since they put a two year postseason ban on the USC Trojans that players for the Trojans are allowed to transfer to another FBS school without having to sit out the typical year.

The NCAA harshly penalized USC on Thursday with a two-year bowl ban, four years’ probation, loss of scholarships and forfeits of an entire year’s games for improper benefits to Heisman Trophy winner Reggie Bush.

The BCS is also likely to force USC to vacate the national championship they won over Oklahoma.
