Digital Spy reports that “The stars of Twilight have denied claims that Breaking Dawn contains a pro-life or Mormon agenda … The book, which is the final instalment of the Twilight series, saw Bella Swan continuing on with a pregnancy despite its danger to her own personal health. Kristen Stewart said that Bella’s decision is about her attachment to humanity rather than a religious statement on behalf of author Stephenie Meyer. ‘It made sense. Not wanting to give up the baby is about her holding onto that last thing that she would have to give up if she was not human anymore,’ she told Entertainment Weekly.”
