Hugh Jackman Drops Out Of A Movie To Get Ready For Wolverine 2

News, Top Story

Deadline is reporting that Hugh Jackman has dropped out of the Kevin Lima directed comedy, Avon Man, in favor of getting into shape for the sequel to X-Men Origins: Wolverine. This would make for the fifth time that Jackman has played the role of Wolverine on the big screen, and while it’s hardly news that the movie is getting made, the fact that he’s dropping movies to get ready for it tells us how long we’ve got.

Wolverine 2 is expected to begin filming in 2011, and should focus on Wolverine’s time in Japan. A director hasn’t been found yet, but as soon as one is, we’ll be sure to let you know!
