NFL News: Oakland Raiders Free Up Nnamdi Asomugha On Defense

The move is aimed at letting Asomugha regain the title of top cornerback in the league.

Over the last few years, the Raiders have kept Asomugha on the right side of the defense. This year the Raiders plan on letting Asomugha roam around and follow the oppenents top receiver.

In 2006, Asomugha grabbed a career high 8 INTs and made the Pro-Bowl, opponenets quickly stopped throwing to his side of the field.
