Spoiler Warnings: How Do They Set Things Right In Spider-Girl: The End By Tom DeFalco And Ron Frenz?

Spoilers

April has actually been narrating the issue and told the story of the death of Spider-Girl in her persona of Auntie M. She then goes over the “How it all went wrong” with Torus before we finally get to the point of this horrible future.

An elderly Cassie Lang as well as a bodyless Mainframe managed to create a time platform for Mayhem to return to the past to fix her mistake, but the Bio-Preds break in right as they send her off. The destruction of everything jolts her trip back, and while she makes it, she materializes inside of a wall. Dying in agony she uses the last of her strength to connect to her younger self, to show her what will happen. Hoping that she did enough to save May in her final breaths.

It is enough as April refuses to let May save her, and even throws her out of the building as it explodes, leaving May to scream for her fallen clone.

No body is found, and May assumes that the clone degeneration is the cause.

But she’s alive, and in the end, that’s what really matters.
