NBA News: New York Knicks Center Eddy Curry Out 4-6 Weeks

News

That didn’t take long.

Eddy Curry hurt his right hamstring during practice over the weekend and had an MRI to confirm the strained hamstring. The Knicks are saying the recovery time is at least 4-6 weeks meaning Curry will not travel with the team to Europe for exhibition games in Paris and Italy.

Curry is entering the final year of his contract with the Knicks and will be paid $11.3 million this season.

Curry has never fit well into head coach Mike D’Antoni’s system and the Knicks would likely love to trade Curry if any team was willing to take on his expiring contract.
