As reported by MMA Junkie, former World Heavyweight Number One Contender Shane Carwin will make his return to the Octagon on New Year’s Day at UFC 125. There is no official word on his opponent but given the recent war of words between the two on twitter and their status within the heavyweight division, one would expect him to face TUF10 winner Roy Nelson. Whoever his opponent is it will be the former unbeaten knockout artist’s comeback after his devastating defeat to World Champion Brock Lesnar at UFC 116.
