Edge and Alberto Del Rio went to a no contest when Nexus, without Wade Barrett, ran in.
As good a way to protect Alberto as any, I suppose and now we get Nexus vs. Smackdown to see what the group can do minus Wade.
Dolph Ziggler defeated JTG and then Vickie Guerrero ended up in a brawl with Kaitlyn.
They’ll get Kaitlyn over this way, although Ziggler deserves better after his Daniel Bryan feud.
MVP defeated Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre for a US Title shot. Rhodes and Drew continued their breakup.
MVP vs. Ziggler doesn’t sound great as MVP still needs to be a heel, but Drew as a face feuding with Cody gives him a shot to finally get over.
Vickie Guerrero defeated Kaitlyn.
Sure, why not?
MVP is congratulated by Kaval, so Nexus beats both down. They also beat up Rey Mysterio, causing Kofi Kingston to replace him in Smackdown vs. Nexus.
Nexus with a bigger role, particularly the under-card guys, on Smackdown, working with good wrestlers like Rey and Kaval to learn, is smart business.
Tyler Reks defeated Chris Masters.
Because either of these guys belongs on TV.
Team Smackdown (Edge, Alberto Del Rio, Big Show, Kofi Kingston and Kane) defeated Nexus when Edge pinned Otunga. Del Rio Walked out on the team.
Del Rio and Edge’s pushes are huge and continue unabated.
