I haven’t seen the Legion of Super-Villains since the Legion of Three Worlds, save for Lightning Lord who had appeared in a few of Levitz’s Legion back up stories. Levitz writing this is the big sell for me, as I enjoy what he’s been doing with the Legion since his return, and I like that he’s keeping it all under his own personal umbrella. It’s less hicuppy.

This book I love the concept behind, just as I love the concept of Avengers Academy. Not a team of sidekicks, but of kids who are very likely to be the next wave of big heroes. I mean, this book has obvious difference between itself and Avengers Academy, but it’s a good idea for this book. The Legion is always growing, always expanding, and focusing on the rookies in a title with awesome Jimenez art is just a good idea.
