More details have emerged on the startling story that Chael Sonnen has pleaded guilty to money laundering. Reports in another local paper confirm that the guilty plea is indeed part of a plea bargain with Sonnen giving up his realtor licence and agreeing to pay a ten thousand dollar fine. It is also believed that he will co-operate with the investigations as a witness against other people involved in the fraud. In return the Government is recommending that Sonnen not serve jail time, instead they’re looking for him to be sentenced to two years probation. Still no word from either Sonnen or the UFC.
