Fresh off his humiliating and devastating KO at the hands of K-1 kickboxer Yuichiro Nagashima at last year’s Dynamite!! sources close to Dream Lightweight Champion Shinya Aoki are saying that the depressed submission grappler is considering retirement from MMA to focus on his role as a trainer in the DEEP gym. Aoki’s troubled mental state is yet another setback for the struggling MMA scene in Japan.
