UFC Primetime Returns For Georges St. Pierre vs. Jake Shields

News

Dana White announced that the UFC’s hype series ‘Primetime’ will return for the build to the welterweight title match between Georges St. Pierre vs. Jake Shields. The series is closer in format to HBO’s 24/7 boxing hype specials than the traditional UFC Countdown specials, spending several weeks following two fighters’ preparations for their main event fight. No details have been released about the broadcast schedule and one hopes that given UFC 129 also sees Jose Aldo defend his featherweight title against Mark Hominick they find a way to cover two matches instead of the usual one.
