MOST WATCHED MERLIN EPISODE OF YEAR AMONG P25-54s
SYFY #1 IN PRIME FOR FRIDAY NIGHT

NEW YORK – April 11, 2011 – The season three finale of Merlin on Friday, April 8 at 10PM (ET/PT) on Syfy delivered ratings magic, captivating the highest household rating (1.3 HH Rating) and total viewers (1.87 million) since premiering on Syfy in April 2010. The episode also delivered a season-high 788,000 Adults 25-54 and 621,000 Adults 18-49.

Compared to the previous week, Merlin soared +31% among total viewers, +30% in Adults 18-49 and +20% in Adults 25-54.

Tag team partner WWE Friday Night SmackDown(R) also enjoyed robust ratings, jumping +10% in total viewers (3.26 million) +29% in Adults 18-49 (1.29 million) and +8% in Adults 25-54 (1.29 million), along with a 2.1 household rating, compared to last week’s ratings.

Syfy was the #1 cable network in 8-11PM primetime for both Adults 18-49 and Adults 25-54 viewers on Friday night.

Set in the mythical city of Camelot, Merlin starred Colin Morgan as Merlin, Bradley James as Prince Arthur, Anthony Head as King Uther, Richard Wilson as Gaius, Katie McGrath as Morgana and Angel Coulby as Gwen.
