The images come on a-coming out of SDCC. We also have interior pics from the DC Comics Relaunch’s Hawk and Dove series.
On the left, you have their origin revisited. This makes sense since the book, as all DC Comics Relaunch titles in the New 52, is to be accessible to newer or lapsed readers.
On the right you have Hawk in action.
You’ll note that despite Hawk’s costume being gray and red now (on the right), the origin story shows his costume was white and red as we’ve always known it (on the right). I wonder what the in-story explanation will be.
I’m looking forward to what writer Sterling Gates and artist Rob Liefeld bring to the table on this new DC Comics Relaunch book. Thoughts?
