The mid-season finale of The Secret Circle aired last night and the executive producer, Andrew Miller answered some of the burning questions that fans of the show have.
With regard to Isaac’s claim that there is a new Blackwell child, the popular opinion is that it is Faye.
“The emergence of the second Blackwell offspring will be revealed in due course,” Miller said. “It will drive [Faye] to seek out alternative ways to separate herself from the group and find power on her own that probably will have terrible consequences for other people.”
Could Cassie’s dad have survived the fire? Miller said that we will find out more about John Blackwell when the season returns. “…we’ll get more of his background and exactly what happened to him” in future episodes.
As for the decision to keep Jake alive, the executive producer said that Isaac sees what he can do and that impacted the decision.
“[He has] his clutches on Jake in a way that he’s very confident,” explains Miller. “He doesn’t have to kill him because he knows he still has a lot of power to wield.”
The show returns in January.
