Disc Announcements, News

Fans of short-lived Sci-Fi series will get another ’70s gem on DVD when Logan’s Run: The Complete Series gets released on April 10 from Warner Home Video. The boxset coming out on real DVDs and not as part of a burn on demand program according to the press release. The Logan’s Run series adapts the movie about a world where people are killed when they reach 21. It’s kinda like MTV’s TRL. The show starred Gregory Harrison (Trapper John M.D.) and Heather Menzies (The Sound of Music) as a couple who escape their society so they can live. The series only lasted long enough to produce a pilot film and 13 episodes. The final three episodes didn’t air on CBS. Don’t let the Sandman deny you a chance to see some freaky ’70s TV.
