Brock Lesnar Retires from UFC, could he come back to WWE?

Following his loss to Alistair Overeem at UFC 141, Brock Lesnar effectively retired as a UFC fighter in his post-match interview:

Lesnar battled the crippling disease of diverticulitis for the past two years, and he just couldn’t regain his bearings in the octagon.

This does, however, leave the door open to a possible short-term WWE return at some point, should Lesnar and Vince McMahon ever agree to terms on a possible high-profile WWE appearance.

In October 2010, speculation ran rampant about Lesnar possibly working a wrestling angle with The Undertaker when Undertaker was interviewed following Brock’s loss to Cain Velasquez:
