In another rare and odd move by WWE.com, within a feature about dream WrestleMania opponents for the Undertaker, one superstar featured is current TNA “authority figure” Sting. Other names listed in the gallery include Andre the Giant, Vader, Randy Savage, Stan Hansen, Roddy Piper, Rey Mysterio, One Man Gang, Danny Hodge, Bret Hart, Bam Bam Bigelow, Killer Kowalski, Hulk Hogan, Harley Race, Gorilla Monsoon, Mr. Perfect, Ernie Ladd, Cactus Jack, Bruno Sammartino, Bruiser Brody, Haystacks Calhoun and Big John Studd.
Quick Quip: It surprises me that they included Sting only one year removed from the expectation of a Sting/Undertaker WrestleMania match. I don’t think we will ever seen it now but it could have been great.
