Yesterday we showed you the one-sheet poster for Alfonso Cuaron’s Gravity with the tagline “Don’t Let Go.” Today we have the initial teaser trailer that will be popping up this weekend in front of The Great Gatsby. Warner Bros. gave exhibitors a sneak peek at what it had in store for audiences this fall at the recent CinemaCon event, but now here’s the teaser for the world to see.
In Gravity, Sandra Bullock and George Clooney star as a pair of astronauts who become stranded in space after their space shuttle is destroyed. Cuaron, who most recently gave us the sci-fi classic Children of Men, has been playing his cards close to the vest, though he admits that through visual effects he will be able to do multiple scenes that will be accomplished without a transition, including a 17-minute opening with no cuts.
Gravity opens wide in theaters on October 4 in 3D and IMAX.
