Fantastic Fest 2013 Announces Its Final Wave Of Programming

News, Top Story

You may have noticed we’ve remained quiet on Fantastic Fest 2013 announcements. Well, we’ll be quiet no longer now that the final wave of programming has been revealed. And as a plus, Inside Pulse Movies will be there in Austin to cover all the craziness that transpires.

The ninth annual Fantastic Fest runs from September 19th through the 26th at Alamo Drafthouse Lakeline (in place of Alamo Drafthouse South Lamar – currently undergoing renovations) in Austin, Tex. The festival will include tons of US premieres for films from all parts of the globe. Closing the festival will be Terry Gilliam’s latest, with him putting another spin on the dystopian vision of the future, The Zero Theorem.

Here are descriptions for the last 25 films added to the line-up. They join an already impressive listing that includes the opening night selection Robert Rodriguez’s Machete Kills (World Premiere), Keanu Reeves’ directorial debut Man of Tai Chi (US premiere), the Nightbreed‘s “Cabal Cut” (Texas Premiere), Drafthouse Films’ acquisition from the SXSW Film Festival Cheap Thrills, and Alex de la Iglesia’s Witching & Bitching among others.
