Kevin Ferguson Heading To The Freak Show – Kimbo Slice vs. Butterbean Proposed For November Bout

News

Apparently YouTube street fighting sensation turned subpar MMA fighter turned can crushing heavyweight boxer Kevin “Kimbo Slice” Ferguson is officially joining the freak show circuit for a little while. Why?

Because he’s apparently in talks to fight Eric “Butterbean” Esch, king of the four round fights. That’s what Slice told TMZ, anyways.

“Hopefully, if Butterbean plays his cards right we’ll go at it,” Slice said to TMZ.

Slice is 7-0 as a boxer, six by knockout. Esch holds a 77-10-4 as a boxer. The 47-year-old onetime WWE PPV special attraction was defeated in June by TKO against Kirk Lawton in Australia. Esch is perhaps most famous for his dismantling of fake fighter/WWE “Superstar” Bart Gunn at Wrestlemania. Gunn had won a series of Toughman style bouts against other pro wrestlers and Vince McMahon brought in Gunn to fight Esch for real on the biggest stage of fake fighting.

The resulting bout would leave Gunn forced to ply his trade outside the United States and gave Esch a bit more notoriety which lasts to this day.
