UFC 167 Results – Robbie Lawler Upsets Rory McDonald, Josh Koscheck Gets Starched and Georges St. Pierre Retains In Controversial Split Decision

It was an interesting night of fights on Saturday as Georges St. Pierre made his first title defense outside of Canada for the first time in years. GSP walked into Vegas for the first time in years, looking to defend his title one more time against Johny Hendricks. After a close five rounds GSP retained, then apparently retired from MMA (for a temporary bit, apparently.. Fox broadcasting partners Chael Sonnen and Rashad Evans put aside their friendship to fight in the Octagon, with Evans dominating in a first round TKO.

It was supposed to be a torch passing to Rory McDonald, who found himself upset by Robbie Lawler in a tight split decision. Josh Koscheck began his descent into Jon Fitch level territory after being starched by Tyron Woodley.
