Last season, it was assumed that Tessanne Chin would be named the winner of The Voice. This season, it’s really anyone’s game.
Monday’s performance finale asked the final three contestants, Jake Worthington, Christina Grimmie, and Josh Kaufman to perform three times. They were asked to do an encore of one of their performances from earlier on in the season (chosen by America), a song selected by their coach, and a duet with their mentors as well.
After the show, I had the chance to catch up with Blake Shelton’s protege, Jake Worthington, to discuss how he felt heading into Tuesday’s finale. I asked him if he knew that he would make it to the finale after picking Blake as his coach, if he felt satisfied about making it to the end after not making it to the live shows last season, and if we had the coolest hats on the carpet.
