If you are a Revenge fan, this news should come as no surprise.
Despite the show being the harrowing tale of Emily avenging her father’s wrongful prosecution and death, you always had a sneaking suspicion that David Clarke (played by James Tupper) never really died and at the end of the Season 3 finale, the writers confirmed what we all already knew.
TVLine reports that it is now official with James Tupper being signed on as a series regular when the show returns for its fourth season.
Brian Hallisay is also poised to join Revenge‘s upcoming fourth season in the recurring role of Ben, a new friend of Jack’s and a local cop. The Privileged and The Client List star is expected to involve himself in Emily’s world.
Finally, TVLine interviewed Revenge showrunner Sunil Nayar and asked him if Conrad Greyson (Henry Czerny) is really dead.
“You know what, we’re beginning to talk about next season, and we haven’t seen him actually die,” Nayyar said. “I think there’s that little tug of me thinking, “I don’t want to lose Henry [Czerny], and that character’s so good,” but you never know. I don’t want to say anything definitively because this is Revenge, but he’s not doing super well lying on the road there.”
