Marvel Studios’ Guardians of the Galaxy movie is getting quite the buzz over the last few weeks. It officially opened in North America yesterday. Word of Ronan the Accuser’s boss and the post credit scene of the film started slipping out after morning movie viewings.

After first appearing in the post credit scene of the first Avengers film, Marvel actually released a hi-res version of Thanos the Mad Titan as he appears in the Guardians of the Galaxy film as Ronan the Accusers’ boss.
Below is that scene with Josh Brolin as Thanos plus a headshot. You may remember the character also popping up at the end of the first Avengers film.

The character will not be the main antagonist in the Avengers 2 film; that will be Ultron in Avengers Age of Ultron. Avengers 3 maybe? Here’s another look at actor Josh Brolin as Thanos.
And, actor Benicio Del Toro as the Collector continues to set up Marvel Studios’ classic infinity stones subplot and, likely, the eventual Infinity Gauntlet weapon focused plot or film or both. And, we’ve seen the glistening gauntlet already!
Plus, we also get… Howard the Duck voiced by actor Seth Green! Yes, HOWARD THE DUCK… in Guardians of the Galaxy!!! He’s in the wreckage of the Collector’s museum sipping alcohol.
