Grey’s Anatomy Spoilers: Season 11 To Have A Meredith-Centric Focus, Time-Jump Planned To Start Season

If you aren’t a Meredith fan on Grey’s Anatomy, you might want to skip the next season of the show entirely.

The show’s creator, Shonda Rhimes, recently offered a preview of the new season and confirmed that there would be a slight jump at the start of Season 11, as the unfolding action will take place 24 hours after last season’s finale.

With her best friend no longer available to her, her husband practically living in Washington, and the discovery of her new half-sister, Meredith finds herself at the center of most of the storylines in the new season.

“It’s really a Meredith-centric season,” the EP continues. “She’s lost her ‘person,’ her [half-]sister has shown up, her husband is chafing to go someplace else…”
