Bethe Correia Says She Will Beat Miesha Tate In A Way Where No One Will Question Why She Has To Face Ronda Rousey Next

Bethe Correia fired back at Miesha Tate and said that she didn’t understand why someone who had lost to Ronda Rousey twice was trying to insert herself back into the title picture.

“I don’t know why she put herself into this story,” Correia told the media in Brazil. “I think she saw all the attention I was receiving. Tate had two chances against Ronda and lost both twice. She saw that I’m closer to a title shot, so she wants to use that attention.”

Correia said that while she doesn’t mind destroying any contender that the UFC puts in front of her, she is focused on the belt and the belt alone.

“Whoever they want. If I have to fight every woman in the UFC to earn my shot at the champion, I will,” Correia told the media in Brazil. “I will fight for this opportunity. I proved with my performances that it’s time for me to fight the champion. I have a history with her, and that made the UFC fans to look at me with different eyes.”

While Tate resorted to social media to call her out, Correia made it clear that she wasn’t backing down.

“I don’t run from a challenge. The whole world knows who I am. Tate’s looking for trouble, and she found it. I will fight her if that’s what the UFC wants, and I will beat her in a way that the whole world knows that Rousey has to be next.”
