Los Angeles Daily News is reporting that the UFC has booked a certain no. 1 contender’s match between Yoel Romero and Jacare Souza for UFC 184 in Los Angeles on February 28, 2015.
Jacare will enter the bout, submitted Gegard Mousasi at UFC Fight Night: Jacare vs. Mousasi, in September. It was his latest victory in in a seven fight win streak, stretching back to 2012.
Romero boasts an impressive 9-1 MMA win/loss record. He comes into the match with a five fight win streak, after a controversial TKO win over Tim Kennedy.
