The Flash returned to The CW last night and while fans have speculated that Allen might make another stop in Starling City to compensate for Oliver’s absence, in a recent interview Grant Gustin revealed his character doesn’t know about Arrow being MIA.
In a chat with ETOnline.com, Gustin also discussed what else to expect as the season moves forward.
On news of Oliver’s death on Arrow…
“Everyone keeps asking if Barry got word and I hadn’t even thought about that because of everything that’s going on. But no, word doesn’t travel to Central City that Oliver is dead and missing.” Sounds like Team Arrow is keeping things contained, at least for now. “I don’t think they know what’s going on at this point.”
On time travel this season…
“That’s what I’ve always wanted and now it’s happening, slowly at first but in a big way by the end of the season. It gets logistically very confusing because now we’re dealing with different timelines.”
On a former Glee star appearing on The Flash…
“I was just talking to Darren [Criss] recently and saying that. I’m like, ‘Dude, we gotta get you on this show, we gotta get you in on this thing.’ I don’t know in what capacity but he’s got to.”
