What’s the latest with Samoa Joe?
Samoa Joe has signed a short term deal with Ring of Honor including an upcoming titel match against Jay Briscoe
There have been rumors that a deal to bring Joe to WWE is close to done but has not been finalized.
While he was originally expected to work some ROH dates in April, Samoa Joe’s run in ROH is set to end earlier than expected because he is headed to WWE. As previously reported, Joe and WWE have been in talks and Joe is considered a lock to sign with the promotion. As a result, he will be finishing up his ROH run with the WrestleMania weekend event in Redwood City, California instead of the original plans to go through late April.
Joe had not as of yet been advertised for any ROH dates through April. He still has some independent commitments in April to fulfill before he heads to WWE.
