CM Punk Opens Up About Current MMA Strengths, Training, Nuances

In a new video interview, CM Punk talked about his strengths in MMA so far, seen through the eyes of Duke Roufus

Some highlights:

“You know, believe it or not and I don’t ask, but everybody asks Duke [Roufus]: ‘Oh, how’s he doing?’ and Duke tells everybody he thinks my best area right now is striking, believe it or not,” said Punk. “Which is mind-boggling to me because the striking is the one thing I never did. Like, I’ve hit mits before and I’ve done boxing and stuff like that, but it’s the little nuances with like everything you need to do with your feet, with your head. Movement. Correct movement.”

Punk added, “So, that’s been the most challenging thing aside from wrestling, but you know, Duke says I’m doing OK and Duke won’t lie to me.”
