Here’s a recap of everything important that went down in the Big Brother House from 8:00 AM BBT on August 4th, all the way through 8:00 AM August 5th.
WARNING: Spoilers below (duh).
As houseguests get up for the day, Vanessa has a discussion with Austin. She tells him she wants Shelli and Clay to out Becky as the rat and redirect the target, and she says that he needs to stage a fight with Shelli so that people will want to keep her to get rid of him.
Vanessa tells Shelli that Becky’s a floater and she’s getting exposed today. She tells Clay and Shelli that she’s having a hard time deciding who to vote for and has been losing sleep over it. Clay and Shelli tell Vanessa that Meg, James, and Jackie all need to go before Becky.
Meg, James, Becky, and Jackie have a meeting in the HOH. They want Clay and John nominated next week. Meg says it was stupid to not backdoor Clay this week and that next week they should put up Steve as a pawn.
Houseguests will be having a halfway party for reaching Day 49 of 98.
Becky tells Steve she’s evicting Shelli because she’s the bigger competitor.
Vanessa meets with Liz, Steve, and Julia in the have-not room. She tries to convince them to vote out Clay and keep Shelli. She says if they keep him he’ll go after Austin to try and scare the twins.
The twins are split on the vote at the moment; Julia wants to vote out Clay, and Liz Shelli.
Julia says that their alliance (Twins + Vanessa + Austin) need to vote together to be effective, and that she’s 100% voting out Clay. The twins and Austin discuss, and Austin says he wants to vote out Shelli.
Austin tells Steve he got thrown under the bus by Shelli, and he doesn’t know what to do. Steve tells him if he keeps her, she’ll be a bigger target than him.
Vanessa, the twins, and Austin agree to all vote out Clay tomorrow, along with Steve. Vanessa leaves, and Julia soon decides they should just vote out Shelli and play it safe.
For the first time in a while, we don’t know who’s leaving tonight. Should be fun.
