Here’s a recap of everything important that went down in the Big Brother House from 8:00 AM BBT on August 5th, all the way through 8:00 AM August 6th.
WARNING: Spoilers below (duh).
As houseguests wake up for the day, Becky tells John that Vanessa’s group is trying to flip votes and get Shelli to stay, and they both know that keeping Shelli would be a huge mistake.
Vanessa tells Steve that John is evicting Shelli. Steve says they need to evict Clay, and they don’t need John.
Clay has a conversation with Meg and begs her to vote him out.
John has a discussion with Clay. He says he’ll vote him out if that is what he wants, but it wouldn’t be the best move for him strategically. He also tells him that Vanessa is in Shelli’s head: “If tonight is a double eviction, I’m sending Vanessa home right after you”.
Vanessa hears somewhere that James told John about the idea that she’s controlling Shelli, and that John had told Clay. Vanessa confronts James, and he swears on his daughter he didn’t say anything like that to anyone. At this point, James goes to the bedroom and tells Clay to “keep my f*cking name out of your mouth”, Clay stands up and gets face to face with James, and has an almost Willie Hantz Vs. Chef Joe type fight, feeds cut and production probably screams at some people.
Vanessa confronts Clay about what John said, resulting in a large argument between James, Clay, Vanessa, Shelli, John, and Austin. James proves his innocence, and John takes responsibility for the comment, but Vanessa won’t believe him. Clay eventually takes all the responsibility.
Eventually Vanessa storms away, and he confirms to Shelli he’s lying to help John.
Vanessa comes back and claims she heard Clay tell John to save him, and accuses him of some form of large scheme. John tells Shelli Vanessa is a huge threat and has everyone, and that “then she does this crying bullsh*t”
Eviction time. Clay is evicted.
During tonight’s HOH competition, any one houseguest can win up to three things: HOH, $5000, and a Never Not pass. Becky wins all three.
The James, Becky, Meg, and Jackie alliance, which desperately needs a name so I can stop typing out all their names twice a day, have a meeting. Meg says Vanessa should be the target. Becky says she’s going to nominates Steve and Shelli, and Vanessa will be the backdoor.
Vanessa asks Becky about her plans, she tells her she’s putting up Steve and Shelli. Vanessa says she feel isolated and that she wants to make a deal with Becky. Becky tells her no and she is done with deals.
