Despite all the hype concerning DC Comics Rebirth initiative over May to September 2016, and truly holding the line at $2.99 per comic book, Marvel Comics also has a big summer planned tied into, in name perhaps, their anticipated huge blockbuster film: Captain America: Civil War!
In a sequel of sorts 10 years after Marvel Comics’ first Civil War event series of 2006, Marvel brings fandom Civil Wars II with issue #1 hitting stands on June 1, 2016; a double-sized issue clocking in at $4.99 or $5.99 depending on what source you check. Civil War II #2 also ships in June and is priced at $4.99 as well. Civil War II is written by Brian Michael Bendis and artist David Marquez.
