DC Comics Leaves Main Previews Catologue From Diamond and Creates Seperate Preview Catalogue Possibly With DC Direct Currents Magazine Features.

Diamond’s Previews editor Marty Grosser has stated that… “For Previews readers, that means you’ll receive a copy of Previews, DC Previews, Marvel Previews, and the Image+ magazine – all for the price of $3.99.”

The first DC Comics Preview catalogue will be part of May 2018 Diamond Previews with solicitations for July 2018 on sale series.

The separate catalogue allows DC Comics to hype certain series and supplement the usual solicitations blurbs and covers perhaps with interviews by creators, etc. I believe DC did something similar for the DC Rebirth launch in 2016.

DC Comics Co-Publisher is a fan of the classic DC Direct leaflet from the 1980s…

…and has had tried to revive that brand before as recently as 2016.

It looks like we may get some DC Direct type features in their DC Preview. We have two short months to wait to see what that will look like.
