WWE Monday Night Raw Preview For 09.24.2018: Shield Regroups, Ziggler/McIntyre vs. The Revival, Undertaker/HHH Build Continues

Previews, Top Story

Monday Raw is back with a huge show tonight on the USA Network, live from the Pepsi Center in Denver Colorado.

Here is the WWE.com top story:

During a chaotic Universal Title Match main event between Roman Reigns and Baron Corbin, The Shield held strong against the trio of Braun Strowman, Dolph Ziggler & Drew McIntyre. With WWE Super Show-Down around the corner, can The Hounds of Justice keep their attackers off their backs? Raw airs live Monday at 8/7 C on USA Network.

After an unsuccessful shot at Roman Reigns’ Universal Title on Raw last week, Baron Corbin will need to regroup this week.

The trio of Braun Strowman, Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre are on a collission course with the Shield at WWE Super Show-Down Under, and in the meantime, their battles continues weekly on Raw. This week should be no different with the build to both the six man tag as well as the Universal title match at WWE Crown Jewel.

Speaking of Ziggler and McIntyre, they will be defending their WWE Raw Tag Team Titles on Raw this week. Their opponents? None other than Dash and Dawson – the Revival.

WWE’s official notes on that match:

After earning a Raw Tag Title opportunity several weeks ago, Scott Dawson & Dash Wilder are ready to collect on what’s owed them. Whether they will be able to topple the tough-as-nails tandem currently standing atop of the mountain remains to be seen. When all is said and done, will there be a championship revival for former NXT Tag Team titleholders Dawson & Wilder, or just another reckoning by Dolph Ziggler & Drew McIntyre?

Another big match has been announced for the show, where Elias will go one on one with Bobby Lashley. Now that Lio Rush has signed on to manage Lashley and inject the charisma into the act that it was missing, this could be a whole new beginning for Lashley in WWE in 2018. Plus, he has a continuing issue with Kevin Owens, as well as a tag team partner in John Cena for Super Show Down.

In the WWE Raw Women’s division, Ruby Riott will take on Brie Bella one on one. This match has implications for WWE Super Show Down, as the Bellas will be teaming with Ronda Rousey to take on the Riott Squad. This match should definitely have involvement from the rest of the Riott Squad – will Nikki and Ronda be on hand to help?

All this plus Nia Jax is back, the unlikely team of Gable and Roode and much more!

Here is WWE’s Quick Hits Preview:

  2. Dolph Ziggler & Drew McIntyre vs. The Revival in a Raw Tag Team Championship Match
  3. Lashley looks to change Elias’ tune
