Super small week for me with just Nightwing #63. I’m a huge Court of Owls mark so am intrigued by this Year of the Villain tie-in.

- Bad Reception #1 – AfterShock still putting out lots of crazy new books I want to read. This one is about a celebrity wedding on a remote island where everyone has to leave their cell phones behind…and a killer is loose on the island! If nothing else, AfterShock is putting out very different comics, and I appreciate that!
- Ghost-Spider #1 – For a character that basically started out as a gimmick, Spider-Gwen has really grown into her own. I really loved her last two series. This time, Ghost Spider is heading to the Marvel 616 universe. Which is great because I love her flirty relationship with Miles Morales.
- Powers of X #3 – Marvel switches things up by giving us two issues of Powers of X back to back. I love seeing this future history of the X-Men. Last time, we got a very new take on the Xavier/Magneto relationship and some teases for the craziness the future will bring. Glad we get another issue so quick to expand on that.
- Marvel Action Avengers #7, Captain Marvel #1, and Spider-Man #7 – I love to read these all-ages Marvel books with my 8-year old son. They are definitely a gateway drug to him. The only mainstream Marvel book we read together right now is Miles Morales
