Marvel Comics Universe and X-Men #6 Spoilers and Review follows.
What’s Wrong With Professor X Charles Xavier?
Why’s He Demonstrating Evil Tendencies?
The book opens with a mission for Mystique from Professor X Charles Xavier.
A suicide mission as seen in the pages of House of X / Powers of X; Mystique, like all mutants, must earn their keep in Krakoa.
She returns from death…
…but Xavier and Magneto need to know if she was successful…
…so she goes back in undercover.
It appears she may not have been successful…
…and Magneto is not pleased she didn’t kill the head of the institution.
Mystique draws a line in the sand saying she won’t go on anymore missions until her wife is reincarnated.
Professoe X says she hasn’t earned it yet; when in reality he doesn’t want mutants who can see the future around to foil whatever plans he has.
However, Mystique may be end upo brining down this new mutant paradise in Krakoa over this uncharacteristic Charles Xavier.
The Pulse:
A trippy issue, but there was some emotional weight in it. Decent art. 7 out of 10.
