Spoilers, Top Story

DC Comics Universe and Catwoman 80th Anniversary 100-Page Super Spectacular #1 Spoilers follows.

The New Status Quo For Batman / Catwoman!

Plus How Does It Impact Justice Society Of America (JSA) Rebirth?

While the rest of the Catwoman milestone (full spoilers here) does not continue the JSA rebirth that has occurred in the Wonder Woman #750 milestone (full spoilers here) or the Flash #750 milestone (full spoilers here), there is an impact in this issue on what won’t be part of new JSA Generations effort.

Well, it is a secret no longer.

Catwoman isn’t imbibing.

That’s usually a subtle clue one’s friends pick up on.

Well, in this issue, not only is Catwoman pregnant with Batman’s baby, but…

…she also gives birth to Helena Wayne.

This story was a flashback told by mother to adult daughter.

Well, an ongoing series or 12 issue maxi-series, take your pick, was announced some time ago.

The opening arc will feature Phantasm; looks like it will be Batman Family series.

So, what does this baby development practically mean for the JSA Rebirth?

It likely means there will be no Huntress, an adult Helena Wayne, in the JSA or any generational Infinity Inc. type spin-off.

Power Girl, Superman’s cousin in the Golden Age, is also unlikely to be part of the JSA rebirth.

So, congrats to Helena Bertinelli; DC’s official and only modern day Hispanic Huntress.

Below are some classic who’s who entries for both Huntresses and Power Girl.

It is unknown what this all means for DC’s last iteration of Power Girl.

Interesting times ahead.
