Marvel Addresses DC Comics Diamond Departure and Move To Tuesday New Comic Book Days For DC Products!
The rest of the industry including Marvel continue, for now, through Diamond Distributors with the typically Wednesday New Comic Book Days weekly.
Marvel Comics announcement:
- On Sale Wednesday” initiative: “Marvel is back with new comic book issues on July 15th! Since Wednesday has been known as “New Comic Book Day” for many years, Marvel is offering up a reminder in the way of these variant covers. Retailers can use them in stores to remind customers that every Wednesday is the day for new comics and to Make Mine Marvel!
The “On Sale Wednesday” variant covers, perhaps the first of a few waves, will be available on July 15, 2020 across the following titles.
