Marvel Comics Universe and X-Men / Fantastic Four #4 Spoilers and Review follows.

Finale Reveals Franklin Richards’ Fate As Professor X Charles Xavier Crosses Ethical Line Identity Crisis Style?!

Well, the last Mark Brooks variant completes the above interconnecting covers for this four issue mini-series.

The finale also a few more variant covers.

Plus the main cover.

The book opens with creators’ credits and storyline catch-up page followed by…

…a dramatis personae.

We then get right into the action with Doombot-Sentinel amalgams, controlled by Doctor Doom, attacking X-Men and Fantastic Four alike.

Doctor Doom wants to continue manipulating Franklin Richards, but…

…Kitty Pryde will have none of it and…

…frees his mind allowing Franklin Richards to destroy the Doombot-Sentinels in fell swoop.

The book begins to end with Franklin Richards reuniting with his Fantastic Four family and choosing them over the X-Men, but together they will guide the most powerful mutant in Marvel into adulthood.

In addition, the X-Men leave with the Latveria’s mutants which Doom agrees too.

Finally, Professor X effectively lobotomizes Mister Fantastic by removing the knowledge of how to rebuild his device that can mask and / or eliminate the mutant gene.

Charles Xavier has been portrayed this dark and calculating way since the House of X / Powers of X and all through Dawn of X. Will it continue into Sunset of X? There is more to him than meets the eye.
