DC Comics & Challenge Of The Super Sons #4 Spoilers & Review: Damian Wayne Robin & Jon Kent Superboy Actually HELP Vandal Savage & Felix Faust?!

Spoilers

DC Comics and Challenge Of The Super Sons #4 Spoilers and Review follows.

Damian Wayne Robin and Jon Kent Superboy Actually…

…HELP Vandal Savage and Felix Faust?!

The book opens in the distant past including 1520 C.E. where Felix Faust seeks out Vandal Savage.

They are working together…

…to allow, it seems, Faust to try to unlock the secret of Savage’s immortality and in turn Faust would reveal secrets of the future to Savage.

As the two villains riff, Robin and Superboy arrive in the past…

…as Faust immediately seems them as a threat.

The Super Sons are hit in the face with the stench of the past as…

…Vandal Savage attacks them first and…

…Felix Faust follows suit with his apprentice Aurora aka Rora; her future self appears to be the one helping the Super Sons even sending them into the past.

Faust reads their minds, but while he doesn’t see Rora’s duplicity…

…he and Savage realize the Super Sons are they key to their (evil) plans?! Is Rora a friend or friend to the boys?

The Pulse:

A fun issue with fun art although that cartoony art style isn’t usually my cup of tea; it fits here nonetheless. 8.5 out of 10.
