Marvel Comics and The Union #2 Spoilers and Review follows.

Knull’s King In Black Symbiotes…

….Kill A Team Member…

…Turn Another and…

…Overrun U.K.!

The book opens with storyline catch-up and creators credits page.

Here’s the roster as a reminder.

The book opens with team leader Britannia dead…

…as the rest of the team takes on British military overcome by symbiotes.

Unfortunately, during the battle the Choir is also overtaken by a symbiote.

She knocks out Union Jack who awakens 20 minutes later…

…with a plan for the team to follow the Choir.

A further battle ensues and the water power of Kelpie is awesome.

Union Jack confronts the Choir and…

…shocks the symbiote out of her!

However, all is not well with a team reeling from its leader’s death.

In fact, it looks like the team is done, but…

…the British governments makes a not-interested Union Jack the Union’s leader publicly to his surprise!

The book ends with a tease of “Bulldog” next issue; does he or she replace Britannia as Great Britain’s member of the team?

The Pulse:

Lots of drama and intrigue in this issue with a smattering of suspense and action. A bit of a cliché ending. Decent art. 6 out of 10.
