DC Comics & Inferior Five #6 Spoilers & Review: Invasion, Convergence & Peacemaker!

Spoilers

DC Comics and Inferior Five #6 Spoilers and Review follows.

Invasion, Convergence and Peacemaker!

To get caught up on the previous five issues’ Peacemaker back-up’s you can check this out.

Inferior Five #1’s variant cover perhaps should have been the cover foe this finale issue as the back-up Peacemaker feature and the main storyline converge.

Anyhow, onto the finale of this once billed as 12 issue maxi-series and concluding as a 6 issue mini-series.

Five years later we have a hitchhiker…

…reminiscing about the alien invasion.

Five years after that, so ten years later, the alien influence is still around.

The hitchhiker continues his trek too.

He reminisces on how Peacemaker had a big impact during the alien invasion.

He wonders what happened to Peacemaker while readers get that answer; Peacemaker is still portrayed here as mentally troubled.

The aliens have contemplated and cancelled a second invasion of Earth.

That means their Earth allies are loose ends that will be cleaned up.

The book ends with the hitchhiker finally getting a ride from Peacemaker who seemingly is part of this ragtag group of five people including the hitchhiker.

The Pulse:

Story-wise the issue was incomprehensible, but the art was good and you can never have too much Peacemaker. This may all make sense if a reread all six issues together. For now, on the strength of the art alone, which can’t make-up for the story, the book climbs to 4.5 out of 10.
