DC Comics and Justice League #61 Spoilers and Review follows.

All About Naomi…

…and A Dash Of…

…Justice League Dark!

The book opens with Brutus back on his home world where…

…he learns the Justice League have followed him.

We also see that Superman believes his heat vision is out of control as Batman and Naomi witness…

…see Brutus take advantage of the moment.

Green Arrow is back as…

…is Aquaman, but they seem to have different journeys on Naomi’s home world.

Black Adam enters the battle between Brutus and Superman, but…

…doesn’t appear to fair better as the Justice League prepares to attack.

In the JLD back-up arc we get a cool look at the Library of Babel and…

…the Man of the Book.

The Pulse:

I found the back-up Justice League Dark more intriguing and fun than the main story despite it having two of fave characters in Green Arrow and Black Adam in it. I just don’t find Brutus compelling nor the Naomi world building interesting. Art is solid on both stories though. 5 out of 10 on strength of art and JLD story.
