DC Comics & Superman Son Of Kal-El 2021 Annual #1 Spoilers: Can A Super Son Work With A Father’s Enemy?! Has Lex Luthor Changed?

News, Spoilers

DC Comics and Superman Son Of Kal-El 2021 Annual #1 Spoilers follows.

Can A Super Son Work With A Father’s Enemy?!

Has Lex Luthor Changed?

The issue opens in the past with an imprisoned Lex Luthor playing chess with his rival Superman; they ponder what good they could do together, but alas it is not materialize.

In modern day, Lex Luthor is back and…

…”convinces” three business rivals to each give him $1.7 billion to kickstart his business empire.

An actual threat or an imagined one motivates his financial benefactors.

Even LL’s ally Mercy isn’t sure if the threat Luthor articulated was real.

Later, Lexcorp is ready to cast his shadow over Metropolis and the Daily Planet building; we also learn that Luthor has convinced the public that Gorilla Grodd’s mind control made him break bad and seemingly lead the Legion of Doom in recent years.

A pardoned Luthor offers a chess game to the Son of Kal-El and…

…they discuss possibly working together to do good in the world as…

…Jon Kent beats Lex Luthor at chess; although “the how” explained brilliantly.

So, seemingly the Lexcorp sign will come down or be minimized to not cast literal and proverbial shade on the Daily Planet.

However, I’m more interested in whether Lex Luthor is back to his murderous ways or will help the planet or both?!
