Cat People transform in 4K UHD this August

When Paul Schader remade Cat People, he made is scary and seductive. He also gave us big cats so that the audience just wasn’t teased with fearsome shadows as used effectively in the low budget original. This was 1982 and moviegoers needed to see big cats on the screen. They also craved a bit of forbidden love. The screen was filled with both along with the sensual score that brought together Sergio Moroder and David Bowie. Cat People: Collector’s Edition gets upgraded to 4K UHD in August so fans can see even more of the feline action.
